Our Obedience does not proclaim precepts: it guards values that are lived. Every principle guiding our work has been drawn from the centuries-long experience of Masonic Tradition and forged in the daily practice of Brothers and Sisters working upon themselves. They are five torches illuminating a single path.
Work upon oneself is the cornerstone of every authentic Masonic path. It is not passive instruction or doctrine to be memorised: it is active, constant transformation, demanding honesty, courage and the willingness to look without veils upon one's own rough stone.
The Symbol does not illustrate: it reveals. The Ritual does not commemorate: it activates. Through the universal language of Tradition, what the rational mind cannot grasp is transmitted directly to the inner being. It is the sacred grammar of the Order.
The bond between initiates is not ordinary friendship nor circumstantial solidarity: it is an operative tie, forged in the sharing of a common path towards the Light. The Lodge is the place where this bond is built, tested and renewed at every ritual meeting.
Freemasonry is not a confession nor a dogma. It opens, not closes. The Initiate brings their own spiritual tradition and learns to recognise in other paths the same yearning for Truth. The dialogue between paths is itself light.
The Order does not impose behaviours: it forms consciences. The Mason acts in the profane world not as a visible member of an institution, but as a man or woman who has chosen to embody Order, measure and Light in every aspect of their life.
These five principles are not external prescriptions: they are the mature fruit of a Tradition that has crossed the centuries while remaining faithful to itself. They guide the individual and collective journey of our members — not as rules to be followed, but as horizons to be inhabited.
