Anyone who feels, in their innermost self, the call to serious work upon themselves. There is no fixed profile: men and women of every background, profession and spiritual tradition — provided they are animated by intellectual honesty, respect for others and a genuine desire to seek the Light. Freemasonry is not a club, nor an association of interests: it is a path. Those who seek privileges or connections have not found the right door.

This question arises from a fundamental misunderstanding: the idea that Freemasonry guards hidden information to be revealed to the worthy. The reality is more subtle. Initiatic work is reserved because its efficacy depends on a protected context, not because something dangerous or exclusive is being concealed. What the Rite transmits cannot be written in a document: it is received in direct experience, in the Lodge, in operative silence. This site offers institutional and introductory information — the threshold, not the inner chamber.

The Obedience operates according to historical and traditional Rites of Freemasonry, transmitted with respect for their integrity and symbolic depth. We do not consider it appropriate to indicate here the specific details of the Rites practised: their nature and structure are an integral part of the initiatic heritage that is transmitted internally, in a context of adequate preparation and awareness. Those who wish to learn more may do so through direct and purposeful contact.

Freemasonry is not a religion and does not place itself as an alternative to any spiritual tradition. It requires that every candidate believes in a Supreme Principle — the nature of that Principle belongs to each person's individual conscience. Throughout history, men of Catholic, Protestant, Jewish, Islamic and many other traditions have walked the Masonic Way. It is each person's responsibility to evaluate compatibility with their own specific tradition and conscience.

Access occurs through a process of mutual orientation and acquaintance. There is no form to fill in online, nor an automatic procedure. Those who wish to approach write to the Secretariat sincerely expressing their motivations; a period of acquaintance and discernment will follow before any formal step. Freemasonry is not sold and not promoted: it is encountered.
